Understanding The Tools
Vottiv offers four primary tools: Canvassing, Text Messages, Phone Calls, and Direct Mail Postcards. Learn about how to use these tools to run a targeted campaign.
To begin campaigning, select a voter group from the list of voter groups you have created.
Within each voter group, you have access to all of the campaigning tools on Vottiv. Here you can set up door-to-door canvassing with our canvassing app, SMS messaging, phone banking or phone calls, direct mail postcards, or digital ads through our ads partner.
When you select a tool here, you'll be communicating only with the targeted group of voters you selected when you created this group. This enables you to send specific, targeted messaging to certain areas, parties, ages, ethnicities, or other demographic. Some use cases for this might be:
- Sending a unique postcard with local issues to each part of the city or district to help your campaign stand out.
- Sending a text message in Vietnamese to Vietnamese speaking voters.
- Calling lower-income voters to find out about their issues and priorities so you can better tailor your campaign to them.
Each of the 4 primary tools are deeply integrated with Vottiv, meaning you can do everything you need to do without using another service.
Canvassing
Vottiv offers an easy-to-use canvassing app for you and your team. It works without having to download an app, remember passwords, or cut walk books for each canvasser by fitting over 100,000 voters in a single walkbook. Learn more about our canvassing app here:
Text Messages
Vottiv offers peer-to-peer SMS and MMS services to text voters directly and respond in the same text thread, if you'd like. Learn more about text messaging on Vottiv here:
Phone Calls
Vottiv offers integrated phone banking in the form of both a predictive dialer and a power dialer. It works entirely online, without requiring expensive VOIP systems, or dedicated phone lines. Callers can call from their computer or their mobile device. Learn more about phone calls:
Direct Mail Postcards
Vottiv offers an easy direct mail integration. Just upload and approve a PDF or image and we'll print, postage, and ship the postcards. No minimums: send 1, or send 100,000. Various sizes available. Learn more about direct mail postcards:
